Hypnotherapy for Anxiety

If you suffer from anxiety you will know how you constantly predict future outcomes in a negative way and how it can sabotage any positive thoughts, stop you from socialising and get in the way of relationships.

We now know that anxiety derives from primitive responses that evolved to keep us in a state of high alert when we are in danger.  However sometimes our brain misinterprets our modern world in this primitive way and whilst trying to keep you safe it just creates anxiety.

Anxiety is a sustained mental health disorder that can be triggered by stress. It doesn’t fade into the distance once the threat is mediated. Anxiety hangs around for the long haul, and can cause significant impairment in social, occupational, and other important areas of functioning.

Levels of anxiety range from mild to severe, and in many people this can trigger panic attacks, but there is a way to reduce, or even remove anxiety permanently.

Hypnotherapy includes relaxation techniques, which tell the primitive and anxious part of the brain that you are safe. Your feelings of anxiety can be reduced and this helps you to take control of your thoughts, feel calm and begin to take control of your thoughts again.
